EdUHK Earns a 5-Star Rating from QS International Recognition for Teaching and Research Excellence
The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) is delighted to announce that it has been rated as a ‘5-star institution’ and awarded with a ‘5-star certificate’ by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) in the latest QS Stars rating system. This international recognition highlights EdUHK's excellence in teaching, research, facilities and other areas.
The QS Stars rating system is a university rating system voluntarily adopted by hundreds of institutions worldwide, who undergo assessment in multiple categories. In the latest results, EdUHK has received a "5-star" rating in seven different categories – teaching, research, facilities, subject ranking, employability, social impact, global engagement – and overall score. These ratings demonstrate that EdUHK possesses a multitude of strengths across various areas.
EdUHK’s President Professor John Lee Chi-Kin said, “I thank all scholars, staff, students, alumni and supporters for their contributions. EdUHK will continue to strive for excellence in academia, research and talent development, providing quality education and nurturing talent for our nation and society, while contributing to Hong Kong’s development as an international hub for higher education.”
EdUHK Vice President (Research and Development) Professor Chetwyn Chan Che-Hin said this honour perfectly validates EdUHK's commitment to excellence. Looking ahead, he believes that EdUHK will continue to attain new heights in research and talent development, providing a high-quality teaching, learning, and research environment for students and staff.
