WERA Focal Meeting & HKERA International Conference 2017
You or your representatives are cordially invited to cover a three-day international conference entitled WERA Focal Meeting & HKERA International Conference 2017 jointly organised by the World Education Research Association (WERA) and Hong Kong Educational Research Association (HKERA) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) starting 30 November (Thursday).
An association of 22 national, regional, and international specialty research associations, WERA is aimed at advancing education research through international lens, with HKERA as one of the member associations.
Themed ‘Innovation, Reform and Education Change in a Contemporary World’, the conference will feature the followings:
- Opening speech by Professor Lui Tai-lok, the Vice President (Research and Development) of EdUHK;
- Over 400 guests and participants from more than 20 countries;
- Keynote speeches, parallel sessions and featured symposiums that will be held among scholars and professionals throughout the globe;
- Hong Kong School Education Forum led by experienced local educators with sessions including “Computational Thinking Education”, “STEM Education”, “Inclusive Education” and “National Education”;
- Design & Make Fair that demonstrates works done by students from over 30 local primary and secondary schools.
