To promote the development of Putonghua education locally, The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) and Tencent Foundation have co-organised the 2024 Hong Kong Inter-Primary School Putonghua Competition in June and July. The aim is to kindle local students’ interest and passion for language learning, to enhance their proficiency in Putonghua speaking, through integrating education and entertainment.

The Competition Award Presentation Ceremony will be held on 24 September 2024 (Tuesday) on EdUHK’s Tai Po Campus. You or your representatives are cordially invited to cover the ceremony.

Participants will include Legislative Council Member Hon Vincent Chu Kwok-keung, President of EdUHK Professor John Lee Chi-Kin, and Vice President of Public Affairs at Tencent and Chief Executive of the Tencent Foundation Mr James Li Tsz-shu will attend the ceremony.
