EdUHK Confers Honorary Doctorates
You or your representatives are cordially invited to cover the Congregation of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) this Friday (16 November). During the ceremony, the University will confer honorary doctorates on five distinguished individuals in recognition of their remarkable contributions to their fields in advancing education and social progress.
The five recipients are (in alphabetical order of surname):
- Professor Edward Chen Kwan-yiu, GBS, CBE, JP
- Professor Christopher W. Day, FAcSS
- Mr Lam Woon-kwong, GBS, JP
- Dr Pang Yiu-kai, GBS, JP
- Mr Joseph C. Tsai
Professor Frederick Ma Si-hang, Council Chairman of EdUHK, will preside over the Congregation. Professor Stephen Cheung Yan-leung, EdUHK President, will address the ceremony. Other details are as follows:

A designated press area will be set up at the back of the venue. Photographers are advised to bring long lenses.
Free shuttle coaches will be available for members of the press at the University Railway Station Transport Interchange (Exit B) at 12:10 and 12:20 pm.
