Lectures on National Security and Foreign Relations
Former Secretary for Justice, Dr Elsie Leung Oi-sie, and the Director-General of the Policy Research Department of The Commissioner’s Office of China’s Foreign Ministry in the HKSAR, Ms Qian Junjun, visited The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) recently, to share their insights into national security and diplomatic relations.
On 27 September 2023, Dr Leung delivered a lecture on the topic of ‘Constitution, the Basic Law, and National Security’, which is part of the Cross-faculty Core Course.
This was followed by another lecture given by Ms Qian on ‘Chinese International Relations and Diplomacy’, part of the General Education Foundation Course, on 16 October 2023.
