On 18 August 2023, a group of 20 delegates from the Artificial Intelligence Institute of Seoul National University (AIIS) and senior management from their partner social enterprises visited EdUHK. During the visit, researchers and entrepreneurs from EdUHK discussed with the delegation the latest developments in AI in education and EdTech research and innovation, as well as possible future exchange and collaboration.

The event began with a welcome speech delivered by Dr Terence Chan Ho-wah, Deputy Council Chairman, and Professor John Lee Chi-Kin, Acting President and President (Designate). Professor Chetwyn Chan Che-hin, Vice President (Research and Development), extended a warm welcome to the guests and introduced the EdUHK team, who presented various AI-related topics. 

The delegation explored a mini-exhibition showcasing EdUHK’s EdTech education initiatives and start-ups. This provided a platform for the University’s researchers to engage in discussions, exchange ideas and explore potential collaboration with the guests. The visit laid the foundations for ongoing exchange and cooperation towards a more innovative future in education and AI.
