EdUHK Knowledge Transfer Projects Awarded
The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) held its annual Knowledge Transfer Awards Presentation Ceremony today (21 December) to recognise outstanding knowledge transfer projects, followed by a recipient sharing session.
After a rigorous selection process by a high-level panel comprising Chair Professors and Department Heads from various faculties and an external member, two projects received Knowledge Transfer Awards this year. The projects were evaluated against criteria including relevant disciplinary knowledge, usability, accessibility, innovation, creativity and social impact, among others.
Officiating at the Ceremony, Professor Stephen Cheung Yan-leung, EdUHK President, congratulated the award recipients, who distinguished themselves as achievers at the highest level over the last year.
Professor Cheung said that “EdUHK has long been dedicated to fostering an environment conducive to knowledge transfer. I am pleased that the award winners have actively conducted their applied research work and have received wide recognition for their community-based knowledge transfer and University-wide research development.”
Established in 2009/10, the Knowledge Transfer Awards Scheme supports the transfer of University-generated knowledge, technology and research findings to the wider community, particularly the local community.
