Policy Dialogue Series: “Housing Policy and Politics: Lessons Learning between Hong Kong and Singapore”
You or your representatives are cordially invited to cover a seminar on a policy dialogue series, titled “Housing Policy and Politics: Lessons Learning between Hong Kong and Singapore”, co-organised by the Department of Asian and Policy Studies (APS) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) and the Division of Public Policy of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).
During the session, EdUHK Research Chair Professor of Public Administration Professor Anthony Cheung Bing-leung will be joined by Professor Donald Low, Senior Lecturer and Professor of Practice at the Institute of Public Policy of the HKUST, to share their insights on the topic.
After serving a five-year term as Secretary for Transport and Housing of the Hong Kong SAR Government, Professor Cheung returned to academia in early 2018. During his five-year tenure in government, Professor Cheung had the opportunity to observe and experience closely Hong Kong’s governance and administration. This Policy Dialogue series is designed to provide a forum to explore various contemporary public policy challenges facing Hong Kong. In the coming dialogue, Professor Anthony Cheung and Professor Donald Low will analyse and compare the housing policy and politics of Hong Kong and Singapore.
