You or your representatives are cordially invited to cover the Launch Ceremony of the Plastic Resources Education – 3Rs & 3Cs Programme to be held this Thursday (29 September) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK). Sponsored by the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) and organised by the Centre for Education in Environmental Sustainability (CEES) at EdUHK, the programme will promote education on plastic resources and plastic waste recycling in 40 local primary schools.

There will be an international conference on synergy between sciences and social development in solid waste management after the launching ceremony. Education booths are set up to promote plastic waste education for primary school teachers and students.

Officiating at the launching ceremony will be  Professor Stephen Cheung Yan-leung, EdUHK President; Professor John Lee Chi-kin, Vice President (Academic); Professor Winnie So Wing-mui, Director of CEES; Dr Stephen Chow Cheuk-fai, Associate Professor at the Department of Science and Environmental Studies; and Ms Malini Thadani, Head of Corporate Sustainability, Asia Pacific at HSBC.
