“Less Plastic” Point – 3Rs & 3Cs Carnival at EdUHK
You or your representatives are cordially invited to cover the “‘Less Plastic’ Point – 3Rs & 3Cs Carnival”, which will be held this Saturday (14 October) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK).
Supported by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC), EdUHK’s Centre for Education in Environmental Sustainability (CEES) kicked off the two-year programme “Plastic Resources Education – 3Rs & 3Cs” in September 2016 to implement plastic resources education and plastic recycling in 40 primary schools in Hong Kong. This carnival is one of the major highlights of the programme.
Officiating at the ceremony will be Professor Winnie So Wing-mui, Director of the CEES; and Dr Stephen Chow Cheuk-fai, Associate Professor in the Department of Science and Environment Studies. Over 30 booths for exhibitions and games will be set up at the carnival by students from different schools and green groups to promote plastic resources education and show students’ works. Prizes for the “Design of 8-in-1 Recycling Bin” and the “Production of Promotional Video” competitions will be awarded during the event.
