The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) received a generous donation from the Friends of Hong Kong Association (FHKA) in support of the University’s Elite Athlete Friendly University (EAFU) Fund, a scheme established to promote the dual career pathway for local athletes and to foster the sustainable development of local sports. You or your representatives are cordially invited to cover the donation ceremony on 2 December (Thursday) on the Tai Po campus.

Attending the ceremony will be FHKA President Dr Henry Tang Ying-yen, Vice-Presidents Professor Anthony Wu Ting-yuk and Mr Ng Leung-ho, Vice-President and Secretary Dr Tam Kam-kau, Executive Director Mr Lu Fu, EdUHK Council Chairman Dr David Wong Yau-kar, President Professor Stephen Cheung Yan-leung; and the University’s Council members and staff.

All six EdUHK EAFU Ambassadors will also attend the ceremony. They are Wong Kam-po (cycling) and Lee Chun-ho (karate) who were appointed last year; and the new Ambassadors Leo Au Chun-ming (squash), Cheng Kwok-fai (windsurfing), Chiu Hin-chun (rowing) and Lee Ka-man (rowing). They are expected to be role models, committed to promoting local athletes’ whole-person development. Details of the ceremony are as below:
