Organised by the Integrated Centre for Wellbeing and the Department of Special Education and Counselling at The Education University of Hong Kong, in collaboration with SDU University, Kazakhstan and Sultan Idris Education University, Malaysia, the "Bridging Borders Through Technology: Belt & Road Conference on Special Education" aims to strengthen the exchange and collaboration between Hong Kong, Central Asia and Southeast Asia, and to explore the integration of artificial intelligence and educational technology in special education. The event will provide a platform for researchers to share their latest findings.

The conference also features an exhibition area, where special educators, NGOs and EdTech companies from Hong Kong and Malaysia are invited to showcase their latest research findings and innovations in the field of special education and inclusive education, encouraging the exchange of ideas and exploring collaboration opportunities among educators and practitioners from different industries.
