The Department of Early Childhood Education at The Education University of Hong Kong will host the 3rd International Summer School and Symposium for Doctoral Students in Early Childhood Education and Development (ECED) from 12-13 June 2025, in Hong Kong.

InSuDoc2025 will bring together doctoral students and junior researchers to provide essential tools for completing their degrees and publishing their work.

We have invited Dr Pooja Gupta Sidney (University of Kentucky, USA), Professor Pirjo Aunio (University of Helsinki, Finland), Prof. Steven Howard (University of Wollongong, Australia), and Prof. Victoria Simms (Ulster University, Northern Ireland) to lead specialised workshops.

The theme is “Development of Academic Identity,” with participants invited to give a 3-minute lightning talk on their academic identity. Networking and social activities will follow the academic sessions, and refreshments, lunch, and dinner will be provided.
